Today was the Alderwood Little League Jamboree for Jake and Jonah. It's kind of like a bunch of exhibition games to kick off the season before it actually starts after spring break in April. This is Jacob's 3rd year and Jonah's 1st year. Jacob is playing better this year but his batting hasn't warmed up yet. He's a great teammate and pays attention to the game now. Jonah is starting T-Ball this year and is picking it up fast after watching his brother for the last couple years. We forgot how silly T-Ball can be until today's game. I actually watched one of Jonah's teammates, who was playing the pitcher position, field a grounder, then run back to the rubber on the mound (as if she was tagging a base) and then threw it home. Jake's team won and Jonah's did well too. It was kind of cold today; hopefully it won't be in April.

Little League Jamboree
Sounders Kickoff Game
Jake, Jonah, and I went to the inaugural game of the Seattle Sounders FC season at Qwest field on March 19th. It was a great game and we had a good view of the first two goals as well as some great defense. We had considered buying season tickets, but four of them would have cost over $1000. So, Wendy got tickets for this game. When we got there, nearly everyone had those green scarves you may have seen on TV. Turns out, they sent them to season ticket holders with the tickets, but it cost me $20 each (had to get them for the boys). We had lots of fun.

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY KIRA!!!
OMG, I'm 2 years old!

She loves a good burger. Such a good eater.

A really funny clip as the Red Robin waitstaff sang...I just love her reaction.
Devouring the ice cream sundae. She loves anything chocolate.
