Red Robin's Tip-A-Cop

A few days ago I received an e-mail about Red Robin's Tip-A-Cop fundraiser, so we decided to go have dinner there after Jake's baseball game - he was 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored! Anyways, I tried their new blueberry pomegranate limeade beverage which had partially frozen blueberries in the drinks. I let Kira have a taste since blueberries are full of antioxidants - this is what happened (watch the video)...

After dinner the Sheriff showed the boys his car - incidentally he served us drinks when we first got there. He let the boys sit in the driver's seat and played with the siren, needless to say they thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Art Extravaganza...Karate...Little League

Jake showing off his artwork at the Art Extravaganza today -kiddie art show at Martha Lake Elementary school.

New picture of the boys at Karate lessons. They received their uniforms so now they look official. Jake really wants to learn how to break wood planks - he's got quite a ways to go.

Jake had his first official little league baseball game this last monday night. The weather wasn't very cooperative - starting to sprinkle as the game started and evetually poured as the end thankfully ended.

Cold morning at the park

We met up with Jordan and Lei at the park again this last sunday. Even though it didn't rain, it was freezing cold. Here's Jonah sitting on the see-saw with Jordan. I just think she's adorable.

Kira and I swinging. She LOVED it, she kept giggling as we were swinging.

She LOVED the slide too. What can I say, she's a wild child.

The little boy, Milo (I think that's his name), was very interested in our little Kira baby. He is 16months old and all he wanted to do that morning was to sit there and stare at her. Kira wasn't that friendly to him though, I think she wanted to play more than she wanted to make friends. What a heart breaker she's gonna be.

Kira riding on the "boat". I was really scared that she'd fall off, but she did great. Just like everything else, she had a giant smile on her face when the "boat" was moving.

Kira with daddy looking cute.

Karate Chop

Jake and Jonah had their first trial Karate/Kung Fu class yesterday. They did really well and we'll more than likely continue with it. We have our second class tomorrow, I can't wait. I think it'll be great, especially for Jonah, to have this kind of outlet. Plus, I think it'll really teach them to be focused and to have self-discipline, if they stick to it that is. I will put video clips on the blog once I figure out how to do that too. Sorry the pictures are so fuzzy - will try better next time.
